Flint subdivided the 1740 acres of fertile valley and called it Flintridge. Upon his death in 1929 while on a cruise in the Phillipines, Flint's company passed to his attorney Harold Schenk and ultimately to Susie Denton.

Over the years, most of the significant Estate Properties in La Canada Flintridge were built by or through this office.
